I have been in dogs for all my life and I have Afghan Hounds since 1976. From about 1985 I started to show dogs and made many (International) Championships in different countries, especially in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. We breed successful Afghans Hounds under the prefix “El Harakat” since 1994. Afghan Hounds from “El Harakat” are all over the world like in France, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark etc.
In 1992 I became more interesting in dogs and so I started with my study for dogs and did in 1995 my first exams for a breed, the Afghan hound. Ten years later, in 2006, I became a Judge for all Sight Hounds from FCI-Group 10 and at this moment I am also a judge for different dogs from FCI-Group 5 and the German Shepherds. I have judged in many European countries at National and International Shows and I did Specialty in Australia.
At this moment I am a President of the Dutch Sighthoundsclub, a Member of the FCI Show committee and a President of the Dutch Kennel Club since 2004. I have been a Secretary of the National Show committee Hochdahl/Duisburg( Germany ), a President of the Int. Show committee KC. DOIJ (the Netherlands), and a Member of the Dispute Ccommittee of the Dutch Kennel Club.
